SUMMARY

* Provide supervision and leadership to the Project Management Officers and Technical Leads responsible for a designated group or business unit of an applicable account. Span of control is more than 15 billable employees. Assist the Site Manager in managing the schedule, cost, manpower, and quality concerns of all work performed. Duties also include employee performance appraisals, training needs, hiring/terminations, and a high level of customer interface.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

* Provide Project Management Officers and Technical Leads direction relating to workload, schedules and quality Communicates with the customer on a regular basis relating to workload, schedule, cost, and quality.
* Coordinate status reports and metrics for customer review.
* Manage the manpower and resource assignments (hiring, reassignment, and terminations) to accomplish all task requirements from the customer.
* Coordinates with and keeps the Site Manager informed on all key issues.
* Responsible for employee s orientation and understanding relative to task requirements.
* Responsible for employee performance appraisals and employee feedback.
* Responsible for the review and approval of employee timecards.
* Functions within defined customer procedures and guidelines.
* Completes internal documents and related duties as required by CDI policies and procedures.
* Maintains knowledge of the CDI organization and works as a team member to accomplish all tasks.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED

* Works under general direction from the Site Manager.
* Works from policies and general objectives with little functional guidance.
* Independently determines and develops approaches to solutions.
* Customer may provide direction for requirement needs and process improvements.
* Refers to Site Manager for guidance in areas where standard procedures do not apply, has not been developed, or required clarification or interpretation.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Supervises activities involving design and drafting technical leads insuring projects and work flow supports standards of performance. Provides technical leads with guidance from Site Manager and insures that organizational policies are carried out.

CONTACTS

* Primary contact with Technical Leads to coordinate project tasks.
* Regular contact with the Site Manager for overall responsibilities.
* Regular contact with the customer to ensure requirements are met.
* Regular contact with employees on performance and abilities.
* Regular contact with other departments furnishing or obtaining information.
* Considerable tact required obtaining results.
