Our client, a leader in the field of electronic systems for military applications requires a Project Engineer, Military Aerospace Products to join their team of engineering professionals.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

* University electronics engineering graduate.
* At least 10 years experience of leading product development engineering teams (5 to 15 people).
* Experience of military aerospace products and industry requirements.
* Worked with Cost Schedule Control System (CSCS) on development projects.
* Computer literate; knowledge of windows applications and competent with MS Office suite necessary.
* Previous experience working with an ERP system is essential, preferably SAP.
* Effective written and oral communication skills.
* Must be eligible to meet the requirements for the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP) and U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).

JOB FUNCTION:

* Lead engineering development teams developing military aerospace products (teams comprise from 2-20 engineers of various disciplines).
* Plan projects including milestones, budgets and schedules.
* Manage work and team activity to stay on schedule and budget.
* Manage transition to production.
