Consulting Practice Manager

The Practice Manager:

-Is responsible for the selection, development, and delivery of products and
services within the Consulting Practice.

-Takes a lead role in the assessment and/or definition of a customer?s business
needs becoming ultimately responsible for the solution design presented to the
customer.
-Demonstrates strong leadership skills and business acumen

-Must have excellent communication skills to clearly and accurately present our
solutions to customers, vendors and partners and explain the reasoning and
benefits behind those solutions.

-Is responsible for assessing effort and risk associated with every ?Statement
of Work? and should take every precaution to prevent cost overruns for fixed
price engagements.

-Is responsible for customer satisfaction from initiation to completion of a
solution design and/or implementation.

-Must conduct a project closer and customer satisfaction survey and draft a
project reference for Marketing at the completion of every project.

-Actively pursues new business through both presales activity with the Business
---Development team as well as through other direct relationship acquisition and
Managed Services relationships.

-Has a revenue and profitability target set each year by the Executive team;
this is one of the key performance indicators for this team and forms the basis
of the bonus plan.
Is responsible for a budget and the management of expenses

-Must manage his/her team and ensure quality and productivity standards are
maintained. Resource utilization is the second key performance indicator for
this role.

-Must maintain the resource schedule for this team and is responsible for
vacation approval and to ensure vacation time is used during the allotted year.

-Is responsible for the growth and maintenance of the Consulting team; hiring
and personal development of all team members. This is the third key performance
indicator.
