Retail Distribution's team of highly skilled and experienced frontline employees is directly responsible for helping CIBC's personal, small business, Imperial Service and Private Wealth Management clients achieve the things that matter to them. With operations throughout Canada, in Asia and the Caribbean, Retail Distribution takes a comprehensive approach to meeting the needs of its more than 8 million clients - from investment and retirement planning to credit and day-to-day banking.

Key Accountabilities / Activities:
To relationship manage a portfolio of small business customers by meeting the total banking needs of the customer, both personal and business. The portfolio will primarily contain small business customers whose business needs are generally straightforward. Typical small businesses managed at this level would include: small to medium sized agriculture operations; small to medium sized franchises; businesses with one or two locations; many professionals and small trades. Meet the personal needs of these small business customers, which may range from simple to complex, by profiling, referring, promoting, selling, cross-selling, up selling and delivering a full range of personal banking products and services, including several sophisticated products. Responsible for all aspects of portfolio management, revenue growth and credit quality. Be proactively involved in business development activities to primarily enhance portfolio by consolidation and retention of existing business and by obtaining new business from potential customers. Proactive business development activities will include an active call program with visible community involvement. In most positions, the incumbent is expected to have some involvement in the development of other sales personnel through mentoring and peer coaching. This role reports to a General Manager in the Branch Banking rural environment.
