Junior Blind is seeking a highly motivated Special Education Teacher to work at our Nonpublic Special Education School. Our Special Education School implements functional skills for students ages 3 through 21. Knowledge of Braille is not required. Experience with VI is preferred but not required.

Nestled in a neighborhood in Los Angeles near Culver City on a beautiful 8 acre campus, the Special Education School offers a state of the art facility where you get the support you need, your strengths are recognized and your opinions matter. You will be provided with opportunities for advancement and growth.

Just 15 minutes from the beach, Beverly Hills and Hollywood, Junior Blind is central to all the Los Angeles attractions. In addition you can enjoy Junior Blind?s Sports and Recreation Facilities such as our gym, basketball court, swimming pool and bowling alley.

Qualifications:

� The ideal candidate will have a California Specialist Credential in Moderate to Severe Disabilities

� Must have CBEST, CSET and a BA/BS in a related field.

� Junior Blind will consider any applicant currently enrolled in the Moderate to Severe Credential program and/or Special Education Masters Program.

� Valid California driver?s license and a good driving record.
