Job Description and Requirements:

Superior Tile & Stone is seeking qualified applicants for the positions of General Accountant in our San Leandro corporate office. Must have hands on Accounts Payalbe, Payroll and Union Payroll Experience

We are a stone and tile subcontractor in business since 1929.

Position Requirements:

Full time schedule, M-F
Minimum 4 year Accounting Degree and four years' work experience.
Computer skills required; proficiency in Word and Excel.
Applicant must be proficient in use of written communication.
Applicant must be a self-starter, team player and above all, professional.

Union Payroll experience preferred. Knowledge of labor laws a plus.

Prefer prior experience with the preparation of sales tax returns, payroll taxes, health insurance processing, property taxes and workmen's compensation premiums.

Complete background check, including criminal, credit and employment history is a condition of employment consideration.

Superior Tile & Stone offers a competitive salary and full benefit package including, paid time off (PTO) two weeks first year, holiday pay, medical/dental/life, profit sharing and 401(k) plan upon completion of introductory period.
