THESE ARE MUST HAVES – NO EXCEPTION: Vista and Windows 7 support experience MS Office 2007 and 2010 support experience Network cabling and crimping experience Good TCP/IP knowledge Hands on experience in imaging laptops for deployment Excellent communication skills GOOD TO HAVE: Experience in Blackberry administration Experience in Windows Deployment Services Experience in Active Directory Basic knowledge of Exchange 2007 Desktop Support Technician Person needs to be motivated and service-oriented individual to join our IT Support team. This position is based in NYC and reports to our IT department in Florida. This individual is responsible for providing excellent desktop and application support for a growing sales and management team and remote support for end users. Specific duties include: Installation, troubleshooting, and support of Windows Vista, and other Microsoft operating systems Installation, troubleshooting, and support of Office 2007, including Project and Visio Configuration, troubleshooting, and support of Blackberry in an enterprise environment Troubleshooting other software and hardware issues as required Inventory Management Additional duties may be assigned as required Qualifications: 2 – 3 years supporting Microsoft technologies Excellent communication and collaboration skills Microsoft certification in supporting enterprise is a plus Ability to work independently and as part of a team Represent technical bridge between technology groups and business units
