Position Title: National Account Manager - Wheels Location: Pomona California area Company Brief: International manufacturer and distributor of wheels Compensation: $65 - $85K salary + commission + benefits Requirements: * Wheel experience a must * 5-10 years experience with Key Account Management with National Retail Sales a must * Experience calling on the corporate offices of large wheel distributors (Dealer Tire, Tire Rack, Discount Tire, etc.) a plus * Must be numbers driven with the ability to use an assertive, relationship style of selling * Ability to travel 50%+ * Work from corporate offices based in Ponoma CA area * Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills * Will consider candidates outside area, however NO relocation assistance available Description: * Total responsibility for assigned key accounts to include sales, margin, revenue, product planning, marketing support, and strategic planning * Achieve established sales and objectives for the assigned key accounts * Forecast for the key accounts by month and by year by article level * Coordinate, monitor, and manage inventory and production planning to meet the forecast and unit objectives per key account * Identify opportunities for new product lines at the key accounts and convince the key accounts to buy new lines * Develop product strategy per key account to ensure current product lines are renewed or discarded in a normal product life cycle plan so that competition is not able to circumvent the market share of of the account * Introduce new lines in the product strategy to ensure future growth and development of the key account * Manage and resolve all operational and administrative issues that occur with the key accounts, such as billing errors, shipping errors, and other claim issues * Ensure that price files are properly implemented as per the requirements of the key accounts * Provide direction to the Sales Service Representative on proper handling of the account
