Job Description
Position Description: join our Systems Integration Department as Robotic Systems Integrators. They will be responsible for programming and combining various automation technologies (robots, vision systems, conveyors, etc.) into highly integrated systems. They will work with highly skilled mechanical, electrical, project management and software development professionals to ensure that projects are completed on time, on budget and to the highest levels of safety and quality. Travel is required to commission and support systems at customer facilities. Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications • Electrical, Controls or Software Engineering diploma/degree • Minimum 2-3 years experience in developing PLC based automation software and integrating automation technologies in an industrial setting • Experience Programming the Allen-Bradley Industrial controllers, GE Fanuc or Binar. Background in IEEE 1131 programming would be an asset. • Experience with industrial networking and communications protocols – Profibus, DeviceNet, Ethernet, CAN, etc. • Excellent written and verbal communication and team skills • Excel in a customer-focused environment
