Job Description	join our ADAM Product Development Group as a Mechanical Design Specialist. Reporting to the ADAM Program Manager, the focus of the work will be intelligent automated guided vehicle (“i-AGV”) called ADAM. ADAM is constantly evolving as it is applied to new applications and therefore mechanical design support is necessary to: • Add or enhance standard capabilities • Customize to suit special applications • Improve system and component reliability • Design for ease of manufacture • Reduce component and manufacturing costs • Maintain applicable engineering data • Comply with applicable international standards (such as CE) Occasional travel may be required. Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications • A graduate from a post secondary Mechanical Engineering program, preferably with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the robotics or automation industry • Experience in mechanical design and familiarity with manufacturing processes • Proficiency with AutoCAD Inventor • Highly detail oriented and a self-starter • Good communication, documentation and team skills • Experience with both ERP systems and document/data management methodologies; exposure to VISUAL manufacturing software would be considered an asset • Knowledge of material handling systems and basic robot operations, including mechanical, electrical, and controls would be considered an asset
