Job Description	$60000- $90000 CAD - 5 YRS EXPERIENCE BACHELOR''S DEGREE REQUIRED The role is a senior developer working on the Entitlement Management Platform. This is a new system which provides a robust review and workflow platform for managing sensitive entitlement information from the Firm’s most critical applications. The successful candidate will be part of a global development team working on a significant new development project. The project is highly visible and will have far reaching impact across the Firm. The system comprises a rich web-based UI, significant middle tier built in Java, and a DB2 database backend. We are looking for an advanced level developer who can demonstrate significant industry experience and a track record of delivering systems using a variety of technologies. The role suites an individual that seeks to further their career development in a role that offers exposure to current technology and tools in a challenging environment. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to provide technical guidance and leadership for more junior developers. Skills Required Java, JUnit, Spring, XML, CXF, SOAP, Relational Database (DB2 or Sybase), SQL, Stored procedures, a variety of web technologies (MVC, J2EE, JSP, JavaScript, Servlets, Struts, Ajax, JSON), Linux/Unix and exposure to scripting languages (shell, Perl, etc.) Experience with Morgan Stanley entitlements infrastructure including LDAP, Eclipse, O2 and A2 and an understanding of IT Security and Entitlement management principles UML and OO design Web development experience Self motivated individual and creative thinker who will take ownership and accountability Strong problem solving skills, strong verbal and written communication skills Skills Desired Flex, BlazeDs Able to thrive in a fast-paced, high energy, demanding and team-oriented environment
